Washington, D.C. – For once, it was not Mark Kelly dodging the filibuster. This time, it was a fellow Arizona Democrat who was making excuses for Mark Kelly and parroted Kelly’s long-term filibuster dodge.

Dennis WelchIs Mark Kelly – could he be flirting with some danger here when it comes to this issue of the filibuster? We know that Senator Kyrsten Sinema is getting a lot of pressure to go ahead and blow up and abolish that rule so that they could get the President’s agenda through right now. That filibuster is holding up that agenda, but Mark Kelly hasn’t been really clear where he is on that. Could that hurt him next year?

Mark Kelly Parrot Tony Cani: I think Mark Kelly is focused on getting things done for the people of Arizona. And if it becomes the fact that he has to get rid of the filibuster in order to do some of that, he’s going to have to really think about it.

“Getting things done for the people of Arizona”? Not so much. Mark Kelly’s job in D.C. is to rubber stamp Chuck Schumer, Kamala Harris, and Joe Biden’s far-left, radical agenda. And just like Mark Kelly, this Democrat consultant is choosing to ignore recent polling that shows the majority of Arizonans support maintaining the legislative filibuster because it fosters bipartisanship. How much longer will Arizona Democrats ignore the will of Arizona voters in favor of parroting Mark Kelly’s filibuster dodge?
