Washington, D.C. – Senator Raphael Warnock has one of the weakest records on crime in the U.S. Senate. In fact, not only has he done next to nothing to crack down on crime, but he has gone so far as to allow criminals in prison to collect stimulus checks.
Warnock voted FIVE times against banning such taxpayer-funded payments. The checks sent to inmates totaled nearly $1 billion!
So, who received these Warnock-approved checks?
- Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bomber.
- Larry Nassar, the pedophile doctor who abused women on the U.S. gymnastics team.
- Georgia’s most barbaric criminals were possibly eligible as well, such as Frankie Gebhardt, Eman Moss, Sherry Dorsey, and Eric Rudolph.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Raphael Warnock has done more for criminals than he has for Georgia. He says he wants safer communities but sure doesn’t act like it in the U.S. Senate. There is no possible excuse for giving some criminals, like the Boston Marathon Bomber and some of the most brutal criminals in Georgia history, taxpayer money, for any reason. Warnock has a lot to answer for in his record, and this is near the top of the list. One thing’s for sure, Herschel Walker wouldn’t have voted to allow this.”
