Washington, D.C. – Over the weekend, under the cover of darkness, Raphael Warnock voted to ram through Senate Democrats’ reckless spending bill that even Bernie Sanders said won’t do anything to curb inflation. Senate Republicans offered numerous measures to improve this bill and rein in the reckless spending. Not surprisingly, Warnock voted against all these measures because he is a rubber stamp for Joe Biden’s agenda.
Here’s how Warnock voted:
- He voted against Sen. John Barrasso’s measure to increase domestic oil production and reduce gas prices.
- He voted against Sen. Shelley Moore Capito’s measure to strike $45 million in climate spending from the bill.
- After claiming to support Title 42, Warnock voted against keeping it in place.
- He voted against Sen. Rick Scott’s measure to prioritize hiring Border Patrol agents over IRS auditors.
- He voted against Sen. Roger Marshall’s measure to protect patients from higher drug prices and reduced innovation.
- He voted against Sen. Marco Rubio’s measure to increase funding for violent crime prevention and to prevent the release of dangerous criminals.
- He voted against Sen. Ted Cruz’s measure to strike $80 billion that will DOUBLE the size of the IRS to harass taxpayers.
- He voted against Sen. John Hoeven’s measure to prohibit more reckless spending until prices come down.
- He voted against Sen. Joni Ernst’s measure to prevent tax credits for electric vehicles built with slave labor.
- He voted against Sen. Rob Portman’s measure to fund detection of illegal narcotics including deadly opioids.
Raphael Warnock might say that he is an independent voice for Georgia. But his votes this weekend prove otherwise. At the end of the day, Warnock will always vote with Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer.
Georgians are struggling to make ends meet and they deserve a Senator who fights for them in Washington. Not a Biden-Schumer lackey like Warnock who is a rubber stamp for Democrats’ inflation-inducing agenda.
