Washington, D.C. – We all know that John Fetterman opposes photo ID requirements at the voting booth. Yes, despite 74% of Pennsylvanians – according to a poll last year – supporting the requirement. Renting a car, obtaining baseball tickets from the box office, getting a vaccine, and traveling all require an ID, so why shouldn’t voting in U.S. elections require an ID as well?
Yesterday, we got an answer to our question. It was reported that Fetterman opposes voter ID laws because ‘people of color are less likely to have their ID.’ What?
Democrats made similar claims about Georgia’s new election integrity law, but that state saw record turnout in their May primary. John Fetterman’s claims continue to run into the facts.
