Washington, D.C. – John Fetterman has been dodging debates with Dr. Oz for weeks now. Either he’s too scared to defend his radical positions in front of Pennsylvanians or he’s lying about his health and actually not well enough to debate. We have sympathy for him having a stroke, and we hope John makes a full recovery. But he needs to be transparent with Pennsylvanians.

Three months ago, Fetterman’s campaign said he was 90% recovered and returning to the campaign trail soon. But he hasn’t had a sit-down interview in 137 days and hasn’t committed to a debate.  As multiple pundits and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette have pointed out, it’s fair to ask whether Fetterman is well enough to serve Pennsylvania in the Senate. How can he expect Pennsylvanians to send him to the Senate if he’s not being honest about his health?
