Washington, D.C. – Right when families across Nevada thought the era of $5/gallon gas was over, our weakened energy policy has given way to yet another spike.

Gas prices in Las Vegas are up 24 cents over the past week and now average $5.09 a gallon.

Nevada had the unfortunate distinction of being home to the second highest gas prices in the nation this summer, and the energy policies supported by Catherine Cortez Masto are to blame:

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “The failed Cortez Masto/Biden agenda has failed families in Nevada, and they feel it in their wallets on a daily basis.  As gas prices spike yet again, many are asking themselves how we got ourselves into this mess.  They need not look further than Cortez Masto’s support for anti-American energy policies, especially since Joe Biden took office.  Adam Laxalt will make sure we reverse course and embrace home-grown energy.”
