Statement from Chairman Rick Scott: “If North Carolina voters had any doubt heading into this evening who had their best interests at heart, they surely do not anymore. Congressman Budd outlined a vision to fight inflation, combat crime, and secure our Southern border. Meanwhile, Cheri Beasley could simply not defend her record as a judge and lawyer and offered nothing more than an explicit endorsement of the failed Biden agenda. North Carolinians do not want a rubber stamp for Joe Biden. They want a conservative leader with innovative ideas who will get us out of the mess created by Joe Biden and the Democrats. Tonight, proved Ted Budd will be a great Senator and is poised for victory in November.”
