The Arizona Republic reports that Ruben Gallego ran public affairs for a company that funneled hundreds of thousands to city officials to win contract extensions and was forced to settle in a $2.8 million Medicare fraud investigation.
This follows allegations that Gallego committed mortgage fraud to receive a favorable loan for his house in D.C. andtouted a bank that defrauded immigrant families.
NRSC Statement: “Ruben Gallego signed potentially fraudulent loan documents, worked for a bank that allegedly defrauded immigrants, and worked for a company that paid millions to settle Medicare fraud allegations. Wherever Gallego goes, fraud seems to follow.” – NRSC Spokesman Tate Mitchell
