Today NRSC Chairman Steve Daines released the following statement on Dave McCormick’s announcement that he will enter the Pennsylvania Senate race:

A graduate of West Point, combat veteran and Pennsylvania job creator, Dave is exactly the type of candidate who can win both a primary and a general election in one of the most competitive states in the country. The NRSC also released a new ad exposing the Casey family’s web of corruption and self-dealing, following reports Casey engaged in a pay-to-play scheme with his brother’s law firm, paid his sister’s company hundreds of thousands of dollars, and his brother registered to lobby for a company with ties to China.
