Russ Feingold is teaching in California … but running for Senate in Wisconsin?

Feingold taught at Stanford in 2011 and 2013, and he’s back teaching there right now. Why is he teaching in California, if he’s thinking about running for office in Wisconsin? NRSC spokeswoman Andrea Bozek explains the problem:

“If there was any doubt that Russ Feingold moved on from Wisconsin, he sealed the deal by going back to California to resume his teaching gig at Stanford University,” said NRSC spokeswoman Andrea Bozek. “With Stanford Professor Feingold laying the groundwork to run for Senate from California, Democrats will be forced to get retread Governor Jim Doyle to run in Wisconsin.”
