A Quinnipiac poll revealed that Bennet has a tough re-election campaign ahead of him:
Colorado voters are divided on whether Sen. Bennet deserves reelection in 2016, with 32 percent saying he deserves reelection and 34 percent saying no.
In Colorado, 9News political analyst Floyd Ciruli explained why Bennet’s numbers are trouble:
"That’s not a good place to start," Ciruli said, also pointing to a large number who didn’t know how to respond when asked if they approved of Bennet’s job performance.
This news isn’t surprising since Cory Gardner won the state’s other Senate seat in November. It looks like another Republican could join Gardner in 2016.
