In the latest blow to Ohio under Obamacare, one of the state’s largest health care providers, Anthem, has announced that it will leave the state’s Obamacare exchange. That means 18 Ohio counties will be left with no health insurance option. Yet Senator Sherrod Brown continues to support the status quo, backing the disaster that is Obamacare.
Earlier this month, HHS reported that Obamacare premiums have increased by 86% in Ohio since 2013. Now, 18 counties will have no health insurance option under Senator Brown’s watch. Will Senator Brown abandon the failing infrastructure of Obamacare and to work with Senate Republicans on a heath care bill that will help Ohio? Or will be continue to blindly follow Washington liberals as Obamacare falls off a cliff?

One of Ohio’s largest health care providers is leaving the state’s health care exchange, leaving 18 counties without an insurance option.
Anthem will leave Ohio’s health insurance exchange as of Jan. 1, 2018, Ohio Department of Insurance spokesman Chris Brock told The Enquirer. The major player in the state’s health insurance exchange made the decision as Republicans in Congress worked to overhaul the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare.
Anthem would be the first to leave the exchange since Aetna announced in 2016 that it would pull out of in 2017.
