Washington, D.C. – Senate Democrats are in disarray over their desperation to pass the Corrupt Politicians Act. This isn’t entirely surprising since you can’t spell “Democrats,” “Disarray,” or “Desperation” without a “D.” Through the Corrupt Politicians Act (H.R.1 / S.1), Democrats are hoping to stage a federal takeover of elections, but their top legislative priority is on the brink of failure.

According to the Daily Beast, Senate Democrats are grasping at straws to tweak the Corrupt Politicians Act into a bill that isn’t so corrupt. However, with Chuck Schumer, Senate Majority Leader Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and radical progressives at the helm, this is a futile attempt to find a path forward. As AOC revealed during a Sunday interview, Democrats are laser-focused on passing the Corrupt Politicians Act because Democrats are afraid they won’t be able to win elections if D.C. doesn’t control how every single state votes.

Law professor Edward Foley – who is well-known in legal circles for his far-left opinions – also raised the curtain on the real reason Schumer is so desperate to pass the Corrupt Politicians Act:

“That’s because it’s a purely partisan bill aimed at helping the Democratic Party win elections, not impartial reform designed to foster fair electoral competition in America’s traditional two-party system.”

Senate Democrats are not attempting to make law with their Corrupt Politicians Act. Democrats’ extreme policies like banning voter ID, allowing same day voter registration, and using taxpayer dollars to fund liberal attack ads are wildly unpopular with U.S. voters and will do little to strengthen election integrity. Will Senate Democrats drop the act and try to make law, or will they continue to push what even fellow Democrats are calling a “purely partisan bill.”

Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Katharine Cooksey: “Chuck Schumer is desperate to avoid an AOC primary, and this week his desperation is manifesting itself in the Democrats’ disarrayed attempt to jam through the Corrupt Politicians Act, which everybody knows is a purely partisan power grab. Far from a mandate, all Chuck Schumer currently has is bipartisan opposition to his top legislative priority and no clear path forward.”
