Washington, D.C. – Thanks to Senator Raphael Warnock’s implicit support of a boycott of the state he represents, the city of Atlanta lost out on hosting the MLB All-Star Game and draft, costing the state an estimated $100 million. The MLB then packed its bags and took its money to failed presidential candidate Senator Michael Bennet’s state of Colorado.

Bennet, elated at the economic boom sent to him from Georgia, isn’t done doubling down on Warnock’s mistake. He has now begun fundraising off it, selling All-Star Game themed swag to Colorado liberals who are high on their newfound fortunes (see below).

The question now is, does Bennet have to report the funds as an in-kind donation from Raphael Warnock??

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Raphael Warnock would need to be Rocky Mountain high to not be kicking himself for running the MLB out of Atlanta.  Now, as his Senate colleague Michael Bennet rakes in the merchandise money for his re-election campaign, the people of Georgia are left with nothing. In 2022, they will repay the favor to Warnock by leaving him without a Senate seat.”
