Washington, D.C. – The Biden Administration has nominated some pretty radical people to serve in its ranks, but the nominee for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) – Tracy Stone-Manning – takes the cake. Tracy Stone-Manning’s past is marked by eco-terrorism, corruption, and even support for China-style population control measures. She’s even too radical for President Obama’s former BLM director. Despite all of this, Fox News recently reported the White House is sticking with Stone-Manning as their nominee.

In case you missed it, here’s a look into Tracy Stone-Manning’s troubled past:

Tracy Stone-Manning is linked to a 1989 tree-spiking plot and subsequent FBI investigation, despite telling Senators she has never been linked to an FBI investigation.

Fox News: “In 1993, Biden’s nominee to head up BLM, Tracy Stone-Manning, was granted legal immunity for her testimony that she retyped and sent an anonymous letter to the U.S. Forest Service on behalf of John P. Blount, her former roommate and friend, those documents reveal […] In her questionnaire to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee obtained by Fox News, Stone-Manning said she had never ‘been the target’ of a federal, state or local criminal investigation.”

E&E News: “A retired federal law enforcement agent who investigated the 1989 tree-spiking incident that has consumed Tracy Stone-Manning’s nomination to lead the Bureau of Land Management said investigators suspected her of knowing about the crime before she began to cooperate with the probe. The official, who agreed to talk on the condition he not be identified, said she did not initially help authorities identify two men who were eventually convicted of spiking hundreds of trees in an Idaho national forest.”

The Federalist: “In 1993, Biden’s nominee accepted legal immunity in exchange for testimony that she aided in a 1989 tree-spiking incident, wherein left-wing environmental terrorists jam metal spikes into trees which turn into projectiles when processed for logging […] Circumstances of the investigation into the Idaho tree-spiking case show Stone-Manning had been a primary subject which contradicts her testimony to Senate lawmakers that she had never been the target of a federal investigation.”

Daily Caller: “Former President Barack Obama’s first Bureau of Land Management director, Bob Abbey, said President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the agency should be disqualified due to her involvement in an ‘eco-terrorism’ case in her early 20s.”

While she worked for Democrat Senator Jon Tester (D-MT), Tracy Stone-Manning accepted a questionable loan from a Montana land developer.

Washington Times: “Ms. Stone-Manning was quizzed about a personal loan of between $50,000 and $100,000 that she obtained from a friend in 2008 at 6% interest, about half the market rate at the time, while she was working as regional director for Sen. Jon Tester, Montana Democrat […] She did not offer the name of the friend, but information from her ethics disclosure shared with The Washington Times showed that the lender was Stuart Goldberg.”

Daily Caller: “Tracy Stone-Manning, President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Bureau of Land Management, helped a wealthy land developer secure county approval to build a neighborhood subdivision in 2006. Two years later as a staffer for Democratic Sen. Jon Tester of Montana, Stone-Manning received a below-market rate personal loan from the same developer.”

The Hill: “Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.), meanwhile, questioned Stone-Manning about her personal finances, raising a 12-year personal loan mentioned in her disclosures from during her time working for Tester, noting that she received the loan with an interest rate of 6 percent at a time that the going rate was 11 percent.”

KBUL News Talk Montana: “According to The Washington Times, ‘Ms. Stone-Manning was quizzed about a personal loan of between $50,000 and $100,000 that she obtained from a friend in 2008 at 6% interest, about half the market rate at the time.’ At the hearing, Stone-Manning claimed the loan came from a ‘friend,’ who also happens to be a very wealthy Democrat donor from Missoula, and who also got some benefits from state government while Tracy Stone-Manning held senior positions.”

Tracy Stone-Manning wrote in support of China-style population control measures and called children “environmental hazard[s].”

Daily Caller: “President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Tracy Stone-Manning, advocated for population control in her 1992 graduate thesis. ‘The origin of our abuses is us. If there were fewer of us, we would have less impact,’ Stone-Manning wrote in her thesis. ‘We must consume less, and more importantly, we must breed fewer consuming humans.’”

National Review: “As part of her thesis, Stone-Manning devised advertisements that would urge people not to have children. One ad showed a picture of a child with the text, ‘Can you find the environmental hazard in this photo?…That’s right, it’s the cute baby.’ The ad goes on, ‘When we overpopulate, the earth notices it more. Stop at two. It could be the best thing you do for the planet.’”

Breitbart: “Biden’s nominee to head the BLM also composed a script for a 30-second video commercial to discourage American families from having more than ‘one or two’ children. A female voiceover for the advertisement reads, ‘When we [Americans] have children, the planet feels it more. Do the truly smart thing. Stop at one or two kids.’ Her thesis claimed, ‘The origin of our abuses is us. If there were fewer of us, we would have less impact.’”

The Federalist: “President Joe Biden’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) nominee, Tracy Stone-Manning, is an ecoterrorist who demanded Americans undergo population control in the name of environmental stewardship.”

With views more in-line with Chinese communists, Tracy Stone-Manning has no place serving the American people or overseeing our federal lands.
