As Senate Republicans work to get a bipartisan infrastructure bill passed, far-Left socialists on the other side of the Capitol are throwing a public tantrum. Senate Majority Leader AOC and her fellow socialists in the House are vowing to kill the bipartisan infrastructure bill because it doesn’t have enough taxes or enough spending. Instead, they want to ram through their reckless $3.5 trillion (really $5 trillion) tax and spending spree.
Here’s what the socialists are saying about the bipartisan infrastructure bill:
- Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-OR): “I’m going to work to defeat it…It’ll fail the House of Representatives.”
- Rep. Henry Johnson (D-GA): “I am a ‘no.’ I am.”
- Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.): “We don’t want to see our work taken for granted and just be a rubber stamp for the Republicans… I would guess there are 20 ‘no’s.'”
- Senate Majority Leader AOC: “Tiny” and “pathetic.”
- Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-OR): “ The whole thing falling apart would probably be the best thing.”
- Rep. Salud Carbajal (D-CA): “Bullshit.”
- Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Mass): “We are not a cheap date.”
