Washington, D.C. – Today, the Carolina Journal exposed that Democrat U.S. Senate candidate, Cheri Beasley, addressed a group this week with radical views that they frequently promote on social media. This comes on the heels of Beasley’s recent fundraising alliance with anti-police congresswoman, Cori Bush. For more, see below.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Cheri Beasley is aligning herself with the most radical elements of the Democrat Party in an effort to show she is the most liberal candidate in the primary. But, by partnering with socialists like Rep. Cori Bush and groups like the FCDP’s Faith-Values & Policy, Beasley is distancing herself from the voters in North Carolina. Should she be the last Democrat standing, she will not be able to run from the damage she is doing now.”

Such is the case with former State Supreme Court Justice Cheri Beasley. She appears to be leading the Democrat pack for the party’s nomination for U.S. Senate, yet she is cozying up to some of the most radical elements of the left, knowing these connections are likely to be general election fodder.
On Aug. 9, Beasley was the special guest at a Forsyth County Democratic Party Faith-Values & Policy Group event.
Even though Democrats are running from their previous “defund the police” positions, Beasley appears to be going the opposite way.
…According to Carolina Journal research, the group [FCDP Faith-Values & Policy Group] has a history of mocking “White Evangelicals” and promoting anti-police sentiments.
