Socialist Bernie Calls for More Spending as Inflation Indicators Flash Red
Washington, D.C. – Cautionary tales about the Democrats’ reckless $3.5 trillion (really $5.5 trillion) tax and spending spree are falling on deaf ears. In a recent interview with Politico, de facto Senate Majority Leader Bernie Sanders made clear that he will not acquiesce to calls for a smaller price tag. Instead, he called the current price tag “the minimum of what we should be spending.”
But with inflation skyrocketing, is now the right time for even more reckless spending? Senate Democrats like Maggie Hassan, Raphael Warnock, Catherine Cortez Masto, Mark Kelly, and Michael Bennet who all gave their full approval to Bernie’s inflation-inducing spending spree think so. Every single Senate Democrat voted to move forward with Bernie’s socialist spending spree despite CNN reporting last week, “The Federal Reserve’s favorite measure of inflation rose to its highest level since 1991 in July.”
Bernie is full steam ahead on his far-Left plans to make it harder for American families and job creators to thrive. The more he does to promote his socialist pipe dream, the more he boosts Senate Republicans in 2022.
