Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, amid a worsening crisis at the Southern Border, we learned a very interesting fact. Joe Biden, who has been an elected official for over FORTY YEARS, hasn’t been to the Southern Border…EVER. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki could not provide a single example of Joe Biden ever visiting the border. And the White House still hasn’t provided one.
This fact, while very shocking, is not surprising at all. From day one, Joe Biden has ignored desperate pleas for help from border town officials and law enforcement. He refuses to take any responsibility for the crisis he created and comes up with ridiculous excuses. For Joe Biden, past is indeed prologue as he continues to ignore the border like he’s done for the past 40 years of his public life.
Biden’s border crisis is reaching a breaking point and – just like Biden has done for the past 40 years – he continues to ignore it. But Senate Democrats STILL won’t call on Joe Biden to drop the excuses and get to work. Why? Because fake moderates like Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, Maggie Hassan, Raphael Warnock, and Michael Bennet “don’t want to hurt their own party’s president.”
Americans deserve Senators who are willing to fight for their safety. Not fake moderates who put the wellness of their political party over the wellness of the people they represent.
