Washington, D.C. – Apparently there is a limit to Democrats’ preference for job-killing tax hikes. Instead of hiking taxes on their millionaire and billionaire donors in states like California and New York, Democrats prefer to dole out massive tax cuts.
As part of their reckless tax and spending spree, Democrats plan to eliminate the cap on state and local tax (SALT) deductions, a proposal that almost exclusively helps millionaires and billionaires in high-tax, blue states. According to Marc Goldwein, the head of policy at the nonpartisan Committee for Responsible Federal Budget, repealing the SALT cap is a MASSIVE giveaway to the rich:

The Democrat message: Tax cuts for the rich, and tax hikes for middle-class families.
