Washington, D.C. – Democrats have failed miserably since taking over the federal government a year ago. Among other things, they failed to pass their radical, inflation-inducing spending spree known as “build back broke.” This multi-trillion-dollar spending spree includes huge tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires in states like New York and California.
Democrats want to lift the cap on state and local tax deductions (SALT). This would give blue-state millionaires and billionaires tax breaks while blue-collar Americans get nothing but record-high grocery bills. After their failure to pass this tax cut for the rich on the first try, Democrats aren’t giving up. After all, they don’t want to upset their wealthy donors.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman Jonathan Turcotte: “Democrats are the party of blue-state billionaires. They have failed to address record inflation that’s crushing middle-class Americans. Instead, they’re STILL trying to cut taxes for the rich. Democrats say they want the wealthy to pay their fair share. But at the end of the day, they listen to their rich friends in New York and California over blue-collar Americans who are struggling to pay their bills.”
