Mark Kelly Nowhere to be Found, Hiding from the Truth

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, DHS Secretary Mayorkas visited Yuma, AZ. While his public comments during his visit downplayed the actual crisis at the border that the Biden administration continues to fuel, his meeting with Border Patrol Agents sang a different tune.

Privately, Mayorkas told agents, “Look, it’s worse now than it, frankly, has been in at least 20 years, if not ever,” admitting the failures of the Biden Administration and acknowledging their unpopularity, “I know the policies of this administration are not particularly popular with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, but that’s the reality and let’s see what we can do within that framework.”

Yikes!

Meanwhile, as the crisis continues to privately worsen, Border Czar Kamala Harris is still avoiding traveling to see the crisis firsthand. Instead, she is traveling anywhere and everywhere else. For example, today, she is off to Honduras with other administration officials to celebrate the inauguration of a Socialist president right here in our own hemisphere.  What border crisis?

It’s clear that the Biden Administration thinks it has more important issues to take care of, but what about vulnerable Democrat Senator Mark Kelly? Kelly was nowhere to be found yesterday while Mayorkas was in his home state and hasn’t visited to border in months. Will Mark Kelly stand up to the Biden administration and start fighting to protect Arizona or will he continue to hide and avoid the biggest issue facing his state?
