Democrat Campaign Chair Gary Peters Says He’ll “Work Really Closely” with President in Freefall
Washington, D.C. – Senate Democrats’ campaign arm is planning a bold strategy heading into the midterms: embrace Joe Biden. Gary Peters, the DSCC chairman, told Politico that he’ll be working “really closely” with Biden.
Joe Biden’s national approval rating is in freefall and it’s even worse in states like Nevada, New Hampshire, Georgia, and Arizona. Biden is so unpopular that Senate hopefuls don’t want to be seen with or endorsed by him. But Gary Peters believes Joe Biden is “an asset.”
Joe Biden’s deeply unpopular agenda, that Senate Democrats are embracing, is the exact opposite of an asset. We hope the DSCC continues to work really, really closely with Joe Biden.
