Washington, D.C. – Gas prices are out of control in Georgia and around the country.
Raphael Warnock, who has one of the worst American energy voting records in the country, has been trying to gaslight voters with a gimmick gas tax holiday. He’s hoping voters forget that he’s openly pushed to abolish fossil fuels altogether.
But this week, when confronted with a straightforward question of whether or not he supports expanding American energy production, Warnock walked away. Take a look:
At a time when the average gas price in Georgia is over $4.00, and America is not 100% energy independent, how could Warnock simply refuse to support the solution?
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Raphael Warnock is one of the most anti-American energy members of the U.S. Senate. He would abolish fossil fuels tomorrow if he could, with no plans to bridge the gap in energy demand. Pain at the pump will be prolonged because of legislators like Warnock, and Georgians will make the representational change in November.”
