Washington, D.C. – Floundering in six different polls, Nevada’s Catherine Cortez Masto – the most endangered Senate Democrat this cycle – is attempting to distance herself from her radical, open border policies. For years, Cortez Masto has worked to enable Joe Biden and the crisis along the Southern Border:
- Masto voted to end Title 42 without a plan and led a letter in 2020 calling for an end to Title 42.
- Masto voted twice to send taxpayer-funded stimulus checks to illegal immigrants.
- Masto voted on three separate occasions to defund border security programs.
- Masto voted to fund sanctuary cities and voted against prioritizing the arrest of illegal immigrants charged with violent crimes.
- Masto voted multiple times to weaken the Remain in Mexico policy.
Nevadans won’t soon forget how Catherine Cortez Masto has sold them out, instead siding with D.C. Democrats and special interest groups who fuel her campaign. In case you missed it, Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist Victor Joecks highlighted Masto’s blatant border flip-flops in his latest column:

She’s been a vocal supporter of amnesty. In 2019, she introduced a bill to move potential illegal immigrants from detention facilities into local communities. She attacked Trump for wanting a border wall and for his efforts to deport illegal immigrants.
“So Cortez Masto’s angst about the Biden administration’s lack of a plan at the border rings hollow. Until a tough election was around the corner, she showed little concern about surges in illegal immigration.”
