Washington, D.C. – Raphael Warnock is no slouch when it comes to raising money. The only problem is that very little of it comes from Georgians.
In fact, of the over $13 million that Warnock raised in the First Quarter, less than $900,000 came from donors inside Georgia, a paltry 11% of his total haul.
To some degree, this makes sense. Warnock has held high-profile fundraisers in the most liberal cities in America with some of the most radical voices on the left. Also, President Joe Biden remains unpopular in Georgia, where most people think that the country is headed in the wrong direction.
It’s these strong headwinds in the Peach State that have likely dried up his in-state donations and led to his new campaign tactic of claiming that he is incapable of bringing any change to Washington.

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Raphael Warnock loves being a liberal celebrity and fundraises accordingly. Meanwhile, he’s telling Georgians to lower their expectations of him and his Democrat allies in the Senate. Georgia deserves better.”
