In his address, Cassidy highlights his decades of experience as a doctor in Louisiana, treating both the uninsured and underinsured. He touts his congressional background and the Keystone XL pipeline’s importance:
Building Keystone would create more than 40,000 high-paying jobs, putting billions of dollars in workers’ pockets, and give a much-needed boost to America’s construction industry.
Just 27 percent of Americans think the U.S. is heading in the right direction, but 60 percent are in favor of building the Keystone pipeline. Americans spoke loud and clear on November 4th. They want Congress to work together and do what’s right for the American people.
Dr. Cassidy closed his address with a powerful message:
Louisiana needs a senator who can pass Keystone. Louisiana does not need a senator who supports President Obama 97 percent of the time. We need a senator who supports us, the people of Louisiana, 100 percent of the time.
