Senator Jon Tester thought he could get away with his liberal obstructionist ways without paying the price on Election Day. But as this week showed, Tester is in the political fight of his life. And it’s not going very well…

Tester’s decision to declare a partisan war against Trump’s VA nominee cast himself as the “tip of the spear of the anti-Trump movement” as he faces reelection in a state Trump won by more than 20 points!

Tester went out on a limb lobbing unvetted lies and accusations against a decorated serviceman, Navy Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, all to score political points with his “resist colleagues” Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.

His reckless behavior earned him the ire of President Trump, who slammed Tester on twitter:

The White House also blasted Tester for his hypocritical attempts to cozy up to the administration, while consistently opposing Trump’s agenda:

“Senator Tester likes to have an image back home as being bipartisan and working with both sides, but this isn’t the first [time]. I mean he voted against Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court, he voted against Mike Pompeo for both director of the CIA and to be Secretary of State and the record goes on and on and on. And I think what you have is simply somebody who is fallen in line with Senator Schumer’s obstruction pattern against our nominees.” (click here to listen to full interview)

And the NRSC went up with a digital ad blasting Tester for his disgraceful smear campaign and his betrayal of Montana.

Sen. Tester’s week only got worse when President Trump called Tester out again for his support of irresponsible immigration laws and his pattern of obstruction.

Sen. Tester thought he could make his week better by having far-left stars like Sen. Elizabeth Warren send a fundraising email for him. Don’t think that will help him in a state Trump won by over 20 points…

As Tester continues to embrace the far-left flank, he can look forward to many more bad weeks campaigning in deep red Montana.

Pitch in to defeat Jon Tester in November!
