The Senate Majority continues to pass important Republican reforms. This time, passing significant legislation to not only fix our education system, but make it safer as well.
The bipartisan Every Student Succeeds Act passed in the Senate on Wednesday and signals one of the many ways the Majority is Working again. Republican senators worked together to overhaul No Child Left Behind, ensuring our education fits the next generation of students and each state individually.
Pat Toomey added a provision to the education bill preventing schools from "passing the trash." The amendment will ensure child predators will stay out of schools by requiring tougher background checks for school employees. Watch the coverage of Toomey’s amendment here:

Richard Burr also helped North Carolina schools benefit from an extra $24 million. This money will go towards improving educators to ensure students are learning from the best teachers possible.
With the recent repeal of Obamacare and other reforms like education, it’s clear the Majority is Working for Americans to guarantee a better future for generations to come. We need to protect our majority in 2016 so we can continue to push positive reforms and stay on the right track.
