Senator Tester still doesn’t want to answer questions about his lavish $1,000,000 home in Washington, D.C. After dodging questions from KTVQ last month, Tester was stopped in the airport today and asked if he’d like to comment on his lavish D.C. abode. With a smug grin, Tester snippily replies: “Cut me a check and it’s yours.”
Sorry, Senator Tester, I wish we could! Unfortunately, most Montanans can’t afford such a lavish Washington D.C. palace like yours, complete with “shimmering oak floors” or a “showstopper salon.” Then again, most Montanans haven’t spent 20 years in elected office getting rich, cozying up with lobbyists, becoming a multi-millionaire and jet-setting on lavish $15,000 vacations to Cancun either.
So much for being “Mr. Montana”…
