Today marks the six month anniversary of the passage of the historic GOP tax cuts. Within the short time since its passage, Americans are already feeling the benefits from wage increases, new jobs and bigger paychecks.
Here’s how the GOP tax cuts have made a difference for hardworking families:
- In just the 6 months since its passage, over 600 companies in every state including D.C. have doled out pay raises, bonuses and economic investments.
- Major employers like AT&T gave employees $1,000 bonuses and added an additional $1 billion in investments in the U.S. economy.
- Comcast announced $1,000 bonuses to more than 100,000 employees, plans to invest $50 billion in infrastructure and plans to hire thousands of new employees.
- Apple, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Starbucks and Chipotle are just a few of the more than 600 companies that have announced benefits as a direct result of the GOP tax cuts.
- Local small businesses like Sale Sales Co., Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ gave $1,000 bonuses to its 80 employees.
- Quake Manufacturing in Fort Wayne, IN gave bonuses, enhanced benefits and dental insurance to its 12 employees.
- In Springfield Township, MO, construction management company Hunter Chase & Associates gave bonuses and new trucks and equipment to its 30 employees.
The number of companies and small businesses investing back into the economy keeps growing, all thanks to the GOP tax cuts. And folks across the country know that they have President Trump and the Republican majority to thank for the extra cash in their pockets.
It sure is going to be hard for Senate Democrats to campaign on why they opposed these common-sense tax cuts.
