Senate Democrats are set to unveil the next part of their “new” platform tomorrow, and Chuck Schumer and friends will be joined by everyone’s favorite outsourcing hypocrite, Mexico Joe!
National Democrats, fresh off of stealing their new slogan from a pizza chain, continue to find creative new ways to undermine themselves. This time, they have made the interesting decision to unveil their trade policy while standing on stage with a colleague notorious for profiting from his family business outsourcing manufacturing jobs to Mexico. Just last month, the AP reported that Joe Donnelly had earned as much as $50,000 in 2016 alone from Stewart Superior, his family’s business, which advertised their Mexican manufacturing facility as a way to cut costs. And what better way for Democrats to fight for the hearts and minds of working class men and women than talking about trade policy while on stage with the Senate’s leading outsourcer!
“It’s fitting that Democrats will talk trade policy while sharing a stage with notorious outsourcer Mexico Joe Donnelly,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “The fact is that Democrats lost touch with American workers long ago, and Mexico Joe is the prime example of their party’s habit of saying one thing and doing another.”
