Abdul El-Sayed’s new bestie Chuck Schumer just had Democrats oppose Republican-led legislation to protect Michiganders from higher energy costs due to data centers. This is the second time Senate Democrats have blocked the Ratepayer Protection Act.
Turns out Abdul’s claim that Democrats believe “data centers must pay for their own energy” was just another empty promise.
“Abdul El-Sayed is already falling in line with his new bestie Chuck Schumer, and in the Senate he’d be another vote for Democrat obstruction every time they block commonsense legislation to lower costs for families,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.
