Washington, D.C. – In New Hampshire, the state mask mandate was lifted in April of 2021. As of last month, the Granite State no longer recommends masks indoors at all. Even Washington, D.C. has lifted their mask mandate.
Hard-working men and women have been going to work for a year now across New Hampshire, regardless of the onerous restrictions forced on them by their elected governments.
Yet, in March of 2022, Maggie Hassan’s Washington, D.C. office is empty – thanks to reporting done by the Washington Free Beacon. No New Hampshire resident can walk into a Senate office building and meet with a member of Hassan’s staff. The cited reason is still COVID.
This is strange because not only is the Hart Senate Office Building open for business, but most Senate offices are fully staffed, including Democrat offices, ready to serve their constituents. But not Maggie Hassan…
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Hard-working Granite Staters have gone to work day in and day out to provide for their families, but if they want to meet with their representatives in Washington face-to-face to discuss their concerns, they are out of luck. Maggie Hassan’s record in the Senate has been abysmal at best, but refusing to staff an office while citing the long-overdone excuse of COVID is unconscionable to most New Hampshire voters. Get to work and serve your constituents in person.”
