Washington, D.C. – The rickety campaign of Cheri Beasley continues its streak of mistakes. After promising not to accept corporate PAC contributions, the Beasley campaign did just that in July, according to the Charlotte Observer.
The $2,000 check from a Philadelphia-based law firm PAC was eventually returned, although it is unclear exactly when. Beasley is the only Democrat candidate who has thus far accepted any direct corporate donations.
As the North Carolina Democrat primary continues its sprint to the Left, it remains unclear if Cheri Beasley is up for the task.
