Washington, D.C. – 2022 has been a polling disaster of the Democrats’ own making. Just this week alone, President Biden hit his lowest approval rating mark of 42% in a CBS/YouGov poll, only to watch it fall a staggering NINE points to 33% in a Quinnipiac poll just three days later.
The President’s numbers are impacting how voters view the direction of the country (65% say wrong track), and badly hurting candidates down-ballot.
It’s so bad that President Biden’s pollster John Anzalone, in an interview with Politico, called it the “worst political environment” for Democrats of his lifetime! Anzalone also said Americans don’t feel like Democrats “can get their s*** together” and that Democrats believe Latino voters only care about immigration, and not the economy and other major issues.
Polling proves that latter point as well. The problem for Democrats is they can’t figure out that it is their policies that have created the problems they face. Whether it’s their reckless spending and lack of concern for inflation, their anti-American energy agenda over the last two decades, or their indifference toward the growing crisis at our Southern Border.
The alarm bells are ringing, and the Democrats are unable to fix the problem.
