Approaching 100-Day Mark in Office, President Biden’s Support of the Liberal Court Packing Power Grab Leaves Vulnerable Democrats Floundering
In the days leading up to Joe Biden’s 100th day in office, the NRSC will be highlighting how Joe Biden’s radical policies appease the most far-Left members of his party while leaving vulnerable Senate Democrats to fend for themselves. Today’s issue highlights Joe Biden’s embrace of a radical liberal power grab that would reshape the Judiciary so Joe Biden’s radical, unconstitutional policies cannot be challenged in court.
During the election, Joe Biden dodged, dipped, ducked, dived, and dodged questions about packing the Supreme Court. He infamously said: “You’ll know my position on court packing when the election is over.” Well, the election is over, and nearly 100 days into his presidency, Biden’s position is clear: He supports the radical liberal court packing power grab. Today, NRSC Chairman Rick Scott released a video explaining why the Democrats want to transform the Judiciary into a kangaroo court.
Make no mistake, Biden’s Supreme Court “Commission” is the first step towards the Radical Left’s ultimate goal: packing the courts with radical liberal activists instead of independent judges. We’ve seen this story play out in countries like Venezuela when their supreme court – packed with Maduro loyalists – shredded Venezuela’s constitution, dissolved the parliament, and handed all the power to the Socialist dictator, Nicolas Maduro. The Federal Judiciary is an independent government branch that serves as a balance of power and, according to a new poll, a majority of Americans want it to stay that way. But, if Joe Biden and the Radical Democrats get their way, there will be no more checks and balances – only a rubber stamp for the Democrats’ radical, unconstitutional agenda.
Why are Senate Democrats like Maggie Hassan, Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, Michael Bennet, and Raphael Warnock sitting on the sidelines and letting Joe Biden lead this country down a dark path towards Socialism?
