Washington D.C. – The President’s finger-pointing has jumped into high gear.
Dueling stories are out this morning detailing the President’s growing anger and finger-pointing in response to his failing agenda. From inflation, to the baby formula crisis, to repeated gaffes, both stories show a President who believes he is at fault for none of it.
As Punchbowl put it:
The fact is, the White House and Congressional Democrats are to blame for all of it. In fact, the Director of the Food and Drug Administration, Dr. Robert Califf, has admitted to “suboptimal” decisions pertaining to the formula shortage. Also, Treasury Secretary, Janet Yellen, admitted she was wrong that inflation would be transitory.
And at the top is a President who refuses to share in the burden of blame. So much for “The Buck Stops Here”…
Important note: Not one Senate Democrat has dared vote against the President’s agenda in any meaningful way. They also share in the blame.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “The Biden White House and Senate Democrats are currently in the second stage of grief: Anger. President Biden, oblivious for the last year about the damage his policies have caused, is now directing blame on his staff and appointees. Our unsolicited advice for those in the West Wing and Senate office buildings: Next time your bosses ask who is at fault for yet another crisis, we suggest handing them a mirror. ”
