Washington, D.C – It’s official. Arizona Senator Mark Kelly just voted to advance known eco-terrorist Tracy Stone-Manning’s nomination to lead the Bureau of Land Management. Stone-Manning lied to the Senate and federal investigators about her role in an eco-terrorist plot, and even White House officials deemed her nomination “a massive vetting failure.”
In Arizona, roughly 39% – or 28 million acres – of land is federally owned and managed by the Bureau of Land Management. Why would Mark Kelly hand over control of nearly 40% of Arizona’s land to an eco-terrorist?
Stone-Manning’s ties to eco-terrorism and lying to the Senate as well as federal investigators aren’t her only issues. As a staffer for Senator Jon Tester (D-MT), Stone-Manning accepted a questionable loan from a Montana land developer and Democrat donor, and she previously advocated for China-style population control measures, even referring to children as “environmental hazard[s].”
