Sherrod Brown’s appearance at an event at the Center for American Progress, a far-left think tank, with rumored 2020 Democrat candidates Kirsten Gillibrand, Cory Booker, Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren has folks wondering aloud if Ohio’s senior Senator is weighing his own presidential run.

This is not Brown’s first flirtation with running for national office. He was considered by Hillary Clinton for a spot as her running mate, and openly fantasized that he could have been the difference and helped her defeat President Trump.

So far Brown, is denying that he’s running for President (much like Hillary Clinton did in the run up to 2016). But only time will tell whether he’s focused on Ohio or taking on President Trump in 2020.
