Washington, D.C. – In the pantheon of bad ideas and ruinous political catchphrases, “defund the police” holds a special place.
Not only is it deeply unpopular among voters, but Democrats don’t even like it.
But don’t tell that to early Cheri Beasley ally, and notorious anti-police radical, Congresswoman Cori Bush. She is on a crusade to keep the “defund the police” movement alive and keep the support of Democrats like Beasley. Just yesterday, Bush was at it again:
At the time of this press release’s writing, Cheri Beasley has yet to be asked once if she supports the “defund the police” views of her once-top surrogate.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “If Cheri Beasley supports defunding police departments, she should say so. She may have sneakily terminated her fundraising venture with Bush, but it doesn’t answer the underlying question. What’s there to hide?”
