Washington, D.C. – As polls continue to show Americans are upset with the current state of our country, Democrats are planning to try out a new strategy ahead of November: “Show, don’t tell” the accomplishments of Democrats this congress. You may be asking yourself, “what accomplishments are there to show?” Don’t worry, you wouldn’t be alone. Everywhere Americans look, the cost of living is skyrocketing, gas prices are at historic highs, and the world seems less safe than ever.
But don’t take our word for it, listen to Democrat voters themselves. According to reports of weekly focus groups of young, and black Democrat voters, crime and inflation are sources of serious frustration:
“The economy: A cottage industry of White House officials and left-wing media critics who talk to each other on Twitter has convinced themselves that the media is responsible for the public’s overwhelming focus on the bad news of inflation rather than the good news of low unemployment and rising wages. The focus groups exploded that bit of Democratic self-deception.
…
A woman from the Boston area who went first mentioned rising gas and food prices, food shortages at her local Whole Foods, and the increasing cost of housing. “It just seems like everything is going up and there’s no end in sight,” she said.
In the other focus group, a Black man from the Houston area talked about trying to subsist on the $12- and $13-per-hour jobs he was being offered. “No one can live off of that, especially with inflation,” he said.
…
Crime: It was impossible to ignore how much it came up. A Black man from New York complained about bail reform laws in that state leading to “repeat offenders” who get arrested and released and are “re-arrested in less than 24 hours.” A Black woman in the Philadelphia area wanted something done about gun violence and carjackings in the city by “repeat offenders.”
The white woman from Boston said she was reading a lot about “unprovoked attacks” on tourists in New York. “It’s out of control,” she said.”
Vulnerable Senate Democrats like Maggie Hassan, Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, Raphael Warnock, and Michael Bennet have supported the “ineffectual” Biden Agenda wholeheartedly and will have to answer for its failure.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Democrats of all backgrounds are waking up to the failures of the Biden Administration and Senate Democrats. With no successes really to speak of, Democrats are racking their brains to figure out ways to gaslight the American people. Although their own voters know they need a policy agenda shift, Democrats in Washington are busy pushing $60,000 electric cars and photo ops. As they say, you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink.”
