Washington, D.C. – While hard-working Americans are battling the rise in costs of everyday goods and the inflation that’s knocking at their door, Democrats are proudly traveling the country touting their ‘Build Back Broke’ plan that will only intensify the economic disaster the country is facing.
It is fascinating that the Biden Administration and Democrats can’t seem to take a hint from their plummeting approval ratings. “Surging inflation has soured consumer sentiment and helped drag down Biden’s approval ratings in opinion polls. Consumer prices skyrocketed by 6.2% in October from a year earlier, led by cars, food, gasoline, electricity and fuel oil.” – Bloomberg
Not to mention the devastating consequences it is having on this year’s holiday season. “Thanksgiving dinner will cost 14% more this year, according to new survey by the American Farm Bureau Federation. Dinner for a family of 10 will cost on average $53.31 — up $6.41 from last year’s average of $46.90 which was down 4% from 2019, the lowest in 10 years.” – CNN
In the latest Quinnipiac Poll, the numbers speak for themselves. Americans are feeling the impacts of the Democrats’ failed economic policies and the Democrats clearly don’t care.
- Roughly 6 in 10 Americans (61 percent) say the nation’s economy is getter worse.
- Nearly 7 in 10 Americans (68 percent) say increased prices for things such as food and gasoline have caused them to change their spending habits.
- 53% say they are not finding groceries they want to buy at a grocery store.
- 50% say they are not finding consumer goods they want to buy at a retail/online store.
- 52% say they are experiencing long delays in the delivery of items they purchased.
It is time for Democrats to take responsibility for their reckless leadership that has caused America’s once booming economy to falter. Will Senate Democrats like Mark Kelly, Maggie Hassan, Catherine Cortez Masto, Raphael Warnock and Michael Bennet continue to ignore the inflation right in front of them? 2022 will be a tough year for these vulnerable Senators.
