Washington, D.C. – Democrats in Washington D.C. and Colorado had one goal in the month of June: Stop Joe O’Dea.
Not only did shadowy groups send out illegal mailers, but liberal PACs dropped over $4 million in deceiving television ads, all with the intention of meddling in the Republican primary and stopping O’Dea.
By some estimates, liberal groups may have spent upwards of $10 million in their latest failure.
In the end, O’Dea emerged victorious and an important truth was reaffirmed: Michael Bennet is in deep trouble, and Joe O’Dea is the type of candidate that will appeal to Republicans, Independents, and disaffected Democrats.
Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Michael Bennet is Joe Biden’s top ally in the U.S. Senate, voting with the President 100% of the time. Bennet knows he can’t run from the failed Biden economic agenda so instead his friends spent millions to try and deceive Republican voters. They failed miserably, blowing money they will desperately need to defend Bennet against the great candidate they wished to stop: Joe O’Dea.”
