Democrats say that their economic message isn’t breaking through to voters. But the real reason voters are turning on Democrats is that Democrats’ message – and actions – on the economy isn’t what voters want to hear.
Real wages are down, and inflation is at record highs. Americans across the country can’t afford to put gas in their cars. Families are struggling to put food on the table. This isn’t a messaging problem for Democrats – it’s a policy problem.
Voters are enthusiastic about voting Republican next week because they want a Congress who will rein in Joe Biden’s reckless spending that caused this mess. Senators like Mark Kelly, Raphael Warnock, Catherine Cortez Masto, Maggie Hassan, Patty Murray, and Michael Bennet have been rubber stamps for Biden’s agenda since day one. Americans know they can’t afford another 6 years of reckless spending.
