Senator Tammy Baldwin released a new video today where she tries to cozy up to President Trump on “Buy America” legislation, even going as far as to brag that he supports it “100%.”
The liberal Senator from Madison releasing an ad that touts President Trump after spending every moment of the last two years fighting to “resist” Trump on every major issue including tax cuts, immigration and national security is about as tone-deaf as it comes. In fact, it might be even more divorced from reality than her last ad where she tried to convince Wisconsin she’s really a regulation-cutting cheesehead, despite her record of support for essentially every job-killing regulation in the book.
Tammy’s sudden #MAGA about-face shows just how desperate she’s become in her re-election bid where she faces rock-bottom favorability ratings, and zero record of accomplishment in a state Trump won in 2016. Too bad voters can see right through it…
“Authenticity matters and no one is going to be fooled by Tammy Baldwin’s sudden election-year transformation into something that she’s not,” said NRSC Spokesman Calvin Moore. “Senator Baldwin should own up the fact that she’s spent the last 32 years running for office resisting, obstructing and doing the absolute bare-minimum.”
