Washington, D.C. – John Fetterman was the lone vote to release Alexis Rodriguez, convicted of murdering 17-year-old Sean Daily, the son of a Philadelphia cop. Rodriguez beat Sean with a baseball bat and watched as his fellow gang members shot Sean in the back.

Why did Rodriguez and his gang hunt down this teenager? Because he was white. According to one informant, the leader of the gang said they would go after “any white boy that they can get.” After the killing, gang members were “high-fiving” and Rodriguez even “bragged at a party after the attack that he broke a baseball bat” over the victim’s head.

The bid to free Rodriguez failed, but Fetterman still stands by his vote. His defense? According to FOX News, “The Fetterman campaign said Rodriguez’s release was supported by the state’s Department of Corrections and the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office at the time, and that Rodriguez has rehabilitated himself in prison.” Yes, Fetterman’s bestie and Philly’s crazy DA Larry Krasner is who Fetterman was taking advice from.

It’s becoming a daily line, but we’ll say it as many times as we need to: Fetterman is way too dangerous for Pennsylvania.
