AOC might as well be the Senate Majority Leader because when she says jump, Schumer asks how high.
Last week, Socialist Squad leader AOC said the bipartisan infrastructure bill is “pathetic” and threatened to tank it unless their $3.5 trillion liberal spending spree is passed. Other radical House Dems openly wished for the bipartisan negotiations to fall apart and called the negotiations “bullshit.”
But it turns out the Socialist Squad may not have to kill the bipartisan bill after all – because Chuck Schumer is already trying to do it. He heard the Socialists’ message and wasted no time announcing a vote on the bipartisan infrastructure bill before the text is even written. This spells trouble for the bipartisan bill and moves the Socialist Squad one step closer to their goal of killing it. Once the bipartisan bill is out of the way, Schumer can focus on his boss’s $3.5 trillion liberal spending spree, which is an “enormous victory” for Socialists.
