On this day in history, August 4, 1941, Ted Strickland was born. Retread Ted has come a long way in his 75 years, and what better way to celebrate Ted’s special day than with a birthday cake and memory book?
In honor of Strickland’s momentous 75th birthday, Retread Ted himself stopped by the Strickland HQ with a birthday cake decorated with 75 glowing candles:
The NRSC also launched a digital memory book to remind Retread Ted of some of his most memorable accomplishments…like never passing a bill while in Congress, leaving the rainy day fund with just 89 cents, and losing 350,000 Ohio jobs as Governor. Take a look:
