Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, Maggie Hassan appeared on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” to discuss the soon-to-fail abortion vote in the U.S. Senate and boost her numbers among New Hampshire liberals.

She hit all the right liberal notes and dodged repeated questions about why Schumer’s bill went so far beyond the Roe ruling.  Then, Hassan made the wild, nonsensical claim that it is Republicans who are focused on abortion instead of inflation and the economy… It appears Sen. Hassan doesn’t have access to much of what her colleagues in Congress are saying daily.

Just seconds after playing “I’m rubber, you’re glue” on abortion obsession, Maggie was asked about inflation and quickly grabbed her MAGA cap.

“Look, I think on inflation, the President and the Administration needed to do more earlier.  That’s why I have been pushing for things like suspending the gas tax, making sure they are releasing more oil from the strategic petroleum reserves.”

HA!  Hassan votes with President Biden 98% of the time and has been an indispensable part of pushing through his inflationary economic agenda.   Not only that, Hassan has one of the most anti-American energy voting records in Congress, slowing our domestic energy supply.

And let us not forget that Hassan signed a massive gas tax hike into law in New Hampshire while Governor and even called for indexing the federal gas tax to inflation just last year!

If your head is spinning, you’re not alone…

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Maggie Hassan is trying very hard to be everything to everyone at the last minute.  It won’t work because voters can see her hyper-partisan voting record of rubber-stamping the entire Biden agenda.  She owns inflation, crime, border insecurity, and all the failings of Democrat rule in DC.”
